How to install NCompPOS

- MySQL is a requirement otherwise NcompPOS won't work, click here for instructions how.
- Download the newest nCompPOS software from http://www.ncomp.co.za/NCompPOS.html

1. This is the steps to install NCompPOS after MySQL is already installed. (This instructions is for single computer setup)

1.1 Run the file called nCompPOSInstallx.x.x.zip (It will open the zip file, double click on the exe setup file)

1.2 Click 'Next' on the Bellow screen.

1.3 Click 'Next' on the Bellow screen.

1.4 Click 'Next' on the Bellow screen.

1.5 Click 'Next' on the Bellow screen.

1.6 Click 'Install' on the Bellow screen.

1.7 Wait for it to Finish

1.8 Make sure the following options is ticked like below. Then press 'Finish'

1.9 On the below screen make sure the below info is in the edit boxes.
NB in “MySQL root Password” you must put the password in that you entered in the mysql install.

1.10 Then Click “Install Database”. If the below screen just disappears then everything worked fine.

1.11 Installation should now be complete, press the icon on your desktop to log in for the first time.

1.12 At login and password use same login and password used in the top picture.
